Pastor Bob was born in Boise, Idaho. He grew up in a military family and moved around during his childhood, living in Germany and California as a teenager. He eventually moved back to Idaho and gave his life to the Lord. In 1998, with seven other people, Pastor Bob founded Calvary Chapel in Caldwell, Idaho.

He has a passion to teach the truths of scripture in a very real and practical way and therefore provides the congregation with lessons that apply scripture to every day life.

Pastor Bob’s vision for Calvary Chapel Caldwell is to preach the gospel and make disciples.

Pastor Bob resides in Caldwell with his wife, Suzie, and their three children, Steve, Dave and Dan.

 

Dennis Karpauskas

Ministries: Marriage Ministry, Men’s Ministry, Ushers, Marital/Premarital Counseling, Barbecues/Special Events. 

Dennis was born in Michigan and raised in San Diego, California. At age 17, he fell in love with auto body repair when he got his first auto body job.  Over 30 years later, he’s still enjoying working in auto body repair.

Dennis was saved in 1996 after listening to the teaching of great preachers on Christian radio.  He has been at Calvary Chapel Caldwell for over 15 years.  Dennis works with many ministries around the church, including: men’s breakfast, prayer and projects, ushers, small group ministry, and marriage counseling.

Dennis resides in Caldwell with Rae, his wife of over twenty years.

Greg Chaney

Greg grew up in rural Canyon County, actively participating in 4-H and FFA and graduating from Kuna High School.  He graduated from Boise State University with a B.A. in Communications and Political Science and is set to graduate in December 2017 with his Juris Doctor degree from Concordia University School of Law in Boise.  Greg is active in politics and holds an elected position in state government.  He and his wife, Sarah, live in Caldwell with their 6 children.

Greg grew up attending church but ventured away in adulthood.  Convinced he’d strayed too far to be any use to God, Greg began attending Calvary Chapel Caldwell in 2011 for the sake of his children.  Greg likes to tell about the incredible, restoring power of Christ in a life that surrenders to His will.  For that reason, one of Greg’s favorite verses is:

For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

I was born in Caldwell into a Christian home and asked Jesus in my heart when I was a little girl. I have lived in various areas around the Treasure Valley. I was a stay at home mom and raised 3 children, one who lives on the West coast, one who is in the Navy and lives on the East Coast and one in the middle of country. I have 2 grandsons, whom I adore. I’ve been married to my husband Dan, for 15 years, who is employed with the City of Caldwell as a firefighter.

I started attending Calvary Chapel about 8 years ago, after praying about what church I should attend. I decided at the last minute to visit here on a Sunday and God clearly impressed upon me that here is where He wanted me. After attending for a time, I wanted to get to know more people and started going to a small group on Sundayevening. I don’t believe you can experience God’s fullness in your life until you are serving and I started serving on the worship team. I have always loved music and am so blessed to serve on a great worship team. I began with singing a little and then moved to keyboards. I do all the scheduling for the worship team and it seemed a natural transition to work as secretary for the church in January of 2017.

This scripture pulls at my heart every time I read it:

 For this reason I kneel before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name. I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you being rooted and established in love, may have power together with all the Lord’s holy people to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ and to know this love that surpasses knowledge – that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.
